【摘要】:Thistestmethodisusedtodeterminetheconcentrationofsulfurinlightliquidhydrocarbons,gasoline,anddieselsandtheiradditives,wheresuchconcentrationsofsulfurcanbedetrimentaltotheirproduction,performance,anduse.Themeasurementofsulfurintheproductionandfinalproductofgasolineanddieselisrequiredforbothregulatorypurposesandtoensuremaximumlifeexpectancyofcatalyticconvertersusedintheautomotiveindustry.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofsulfurconcentrationintherangefrom3.0to1000mg/kginlightliquidhydrocarbonsandfuelswithoxygenatesboilingintherangefrom26to274x00B0;C(80to525x00B0;F).Note18212;Preliminarydatahasshownthatthistestmethodisalsoapplicabletothedeterminationofsulfurindenaturedfuelethanol(SpecificationD4806),automotivesparkignitionenginefuel(SpecificationD4814),Ed75x2013;Ed85(SpecificationD5798)orgasoline-oxygenatefuelblendswithgreaterthan10%ethanol.However,theprecisionforthesematerialshasnotbeendetermined.SubcommitteeD02.03isundertakingactivitiestoobtainprecisionstatementsforthesematerials.1.2Othermaterialsfallingwithinthedistillationrangespecifiedin1.1,buthavingsulfurconcentrationsabove1000mg/kg,maybetestedusingappropriatedilutionstobringthemwithinthespecifiedlimit.Inaddition,sampletypesthatmaybeoutsidethespecifieddistillationrange,suchasdieselsandbiodiesels,maybeanalyzedbythistestmethod.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.Thepreferredunitsaremilligramsperkilogram(mg/kg).1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecifichazardstatements,seeSections7-9.
