【摘要】:Thistestmethodprovidesforaccurateandreproducibleenumerationofparticlesandfibersreleasedfromawiperimmersedinacleaningsolutionwithmoderatemechanicalstressapplied.Whenperformedcorrectly,thiscountingtestmethodissensitiveenoughtoquantifyverylowlevelsoftotalparticleandfiberburden.Theresultsareaccurateandnotinfluencedbyartifactorparticlesizelimitations.AfurtheradvantagetothistechniqueisthatitallowsformorphologicalaswellasX-rayanalysisofindividualparticles.1.1Thistestmethodcoverstestingallwipersusedincleanroomsandothercontrolledenvironmentsforcharacteristicsrelatedtoparticulatecleanliness.1.2Thistestmethodincludestheuseofcomputer-basedimageanalysisandcountinghardwareandsoftwareforthecountingofdenselyparticle-ladenfilters(see).Whiletheuseofthisequipmentisnotabsolutelynecessary,itisstronglyrecommendedtoenhancetheaccuracy,speed,andconsistencyofcounting.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
