【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardisusedtodeterminethedegreeofdisintegrationofplasticmaterialsinapilot-scaleaerobiccompostingtestunderdefinedconditions.ItformspartofanoverallschemefortheevaluationofthecompostabilityofplasticsasoutlinedinISO17088,Plastics—Evaluationofcompostability—Testschemeforfinalacceptance(currentlyunderpreparation).ThetestmethodlaiddowninthisInternationalStandardcanalsobeusedtodeterminetheinfluenceofthetestmaterialonthecompostingprocessandthequalityofthecompostobtained.Itcannotbeusedtodeterminetheaerobicbiodegradabilityofatestmaterial.Othermethodsareavailableforthis(seee.g.ISO14851,ISO14852orISO14855).
